As part of our portfolio development, KUTh Energy continues to look at geothermal prospects where we can leverage the skills of our team, expand our presence in the geothermal sector and develop pathways to earlier income streams. We do not see that we are limited to a single Enhanced Geothermal System play and as our Tasmanian project matures our exploration team will become more available to apply their skills to the broader arena of EGS, Conventional Geothermal Systems and Hot Sedimentary Aquifer developments both within and beyond Australia.
KUTh Energy has dedicated specialist resources applied to both investigating and developing overseas projects across these geothermal technology types. Our approach is not limited by any specified region, and we are actively investigating potential projects that combine a promising geothermal energy resource and favourable market demand opportunities.
To date, KUTh Energy has focused its investigations on the South West Pacific region, given its known geothermal resources within a conventional (hydothermal) context, and potential to provide diesel replacement or direct mining/industrial offtake in these developing markets. Current projects under assessment include Vanuatu, Fiji and Papua New Guinea.
